The two week long Stockholm International Film Festival concluded yesterday. It’s been running for the past thirteen years and showcases new and promising film-makers from around the globe. There was quite an interesting selection of movies to choose from. Last night we watched ‘The Lunchbox‘, a poignant and at times, funny story of two strangers, leading regular ordinary lives, who fall in love under unusual circumstances. I really liked the movie and the actors did a great job. Also, the theater was the Park, which opened in the 1940’s and has a charm of its own, check out the scallop lights around the screen in the last pic, though they aren’t really too clear. Wish I had also watched the winner of the competition, ‘The Selfish Giant‘. But I’m sure I’ll be watching more of the shows next year around.
