Melbourne’s Princes Pier is a short tram drive from the city center. Wikipedia tells us that it was name so after the Prince of Wales who visited Melbourne in 1920. The pier is an important port for cruise that sail south towards Tasmania. It is also a lovely place to walk around, get some sunshine and eat an ice-cream! This picture seemed quite the one for the Weekly Photo Challenge – Letters, up at the Daily Post. I love the way the letters project reflections in the water, isn’t it? There is more on my blog from the photo challenge as well as from my stay in Melbourne.

Aha, you’ve got a good eye there 🙂 But I’d rather say that an apostrophe mark is missing since the pier was built in honor of the Prince of Wales 😉
