Must eat in Madrid

Remember that time I told you about binging in Barcelona? Well, I have resolved – when in Spain, just focus on the eating. I confess I am a foodie and I’ve found my match in Mr.A! When we travel we like to get a taste of the local cuisine, and Spain in particular never disappoints us. On a recent weekend getaway to Madrid we treated ourselves to the must-eat trio of Spanish cooking.

What trio, you say?

#1 Paella

#2 Churros with Hot Chocolate

#3 Tapas

P.S. Special mention to Sangria, of course!

Barcelona graffiti

We visited Barcelona last November. It was a glorious trip! Somewhere between our hotel in Barcelona & the nearest subway station, we found a lovely riot of colorful graffiti / street art adorning the walls. We visited Barcelona to celebrate Mr. A’s birthday & had an awesome time eating the most amazing tapas and visiting the La Sagrada Familia, amongst other places. Happy reading!

Binging in Barcelona

While holidaying in Barcelona last month we went all in, in terms of food. We threw the calorie-caution to the wind and tried all sorts of yummy foods. From restaurants to cafes and hotel breakfasts to open markets, we left nothing untested. And each time, we were rewarded with extremely happy tummies & elated taste-buds! Here’s a sneak-peak for you…I’m sure you won’t have the heart, or the stomach, to look away 😉
